The Evangelism Project

How do we share the gospel with people in a relevant way?

This question sparks the heart of our vision. We have invited Tim Keller and 12 leaders from all over Europe to think, write and speak on the topic of Evangelism. This will also be our topic for the City To City Europe conference in 2021. Click on the button below for more information.

Tim Keller

Timothy Keller is the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, which he started in 1989 with his wife, Kathy, and three young sons. For 28 years he led a diverse congregation of young professionals that grew to a weekly attendance of over 5,000.

Tiago Cavaco

Tiago is the pastor of the Evangelical Baptist Church of Lapa in Lisbon. He is married and has four kids. He has written several books on marriage. Tiago is part of the Evangelism Project.

Kristi Mair

Kristi Mair is a Research Fellow at Oak Hill Theological College, Evangelism and Apologetics Specialist at Crosslands and a PhD candidate in philosophical theology at the University of Birmingham. Kristi is passionate about equipping God's people for God's world and engaging with hearts and minds through the big objections to Christianity, and has previously spoken at events at Cambridge and Oxford University.

Tim Vreugdenhil

Tim is the pastor of the City-Kerk in Amsterdam. He is married to Grietje and has two kids. In 2018 he published his latest book Stand-Up-Theology, where he describes ten key words from our time, such as freedom, love, fear, grip and stress. He is part of the Evangelism Project.

Neil is Director of The London Project and also works for City to City Europe. He came to faith as a student in London and married his wife, Jane, here. He divides his time between London and Birmingham. He has a heart to see churches from different tribes working together to serve the city for the gospel and has written about it in his book Together For The City. He is excited by the opportunity to learn from existing churches, serve them, enable them to grow and to plant new churches across London.

Alan Hirsch

Alan Hirsch is the founder of 100Movements, Forge Mission Training Network, and Future Travelers. Known for his innovative approach to mission, Alan is widley considered to be a thought leader and key mission strategist for churches across the Western world.

Stephan Pues

Stephan Pues is a church planter from Frankfurt, Germany, and the director of City to City Europe. He is married to Verena and has three kids. Together with his mission partner he wrote the book Servant Partnership: a Practical Guide for Gospel-Motivated Collaboration in Your City.

Bakhmutsky

Evgeny is the pastor of the Russian Bible Church in central Moscow. He is married and has four kids. He is the author of: Faithbook: Gospel-centered church for a city. Evgeny is part of the Evangelism-Project.

Girma Bishaw

Rev Dr Girma Bishaw is a City Catalyst for The London Project with a particular focus on serving diaspora church leaders to be more effective in mission. He also serves as the director of Gratitude Initiative, a charity that exists to promote the sharing of gratitude to change the social imagination that leads to relational transformation, a fulfilled self, a sense of belonging, and a harmonious and just society in Britain.
